RNLI Charity Regatta: The RNLI Regatta is a new fundraising event in support of the 'Train a local Hero' appeal. The RNLI Regatta is supported and sponsored by HB-corporate, the specialist in smaller company fund raising.
The regatta will be staged in Hamble and the Solent, the world famous home of sailing, on Thursday 15 September 2005. The regatta will raise funds for the RNLI and will offer participants comprehensive sailing, social and networking opportunities.
It is open to companies and individuals who own their own yachts and also to companies chartering yachts. All participants will be given a sail training period, followed by a series of short, exciting races in the Solent and a summer BBQ and prize giving in Port Hamble at the exclusive Royal Southern Yacht Club. Professional skippers are provided on all charter yachts, making the regatta accessible to teams of all levels of experience, including novices. |
